Our Next Free Family Forum

Wednesday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

You’re invited to our next Family Forum on the important topics of Benefits and Guardianship! Come learn about Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, and financial considerations for individuals with disabilities who are working or would like to work.

You’ll also learn about the different types of guardianship, guardian advocacy, the process to become a guardian or guardian advocate, and what follow-ups are needed with the court. Our Family Forum is open to the public and attendees can participate in-person or virtually.

At STARability Foundation, we are a family bound together by having someone very special to us with a developmental or intellectual disability. Families started the organization nearly 40 years ago to support one another and create opportunities for their loved ones. Continuing that tradition, we offer semiannual Family Forums, featuring engaging presentations, open discussion, and valuable takeaways.
