Interesting Things to Note...
Interested in Hosting a foreign exchange student?
Jana is 16 years old from Spain and will be spending two semesters in our area, arriving in the fall. She speaks good English, has her own health insurance as well as spending money to cover personal expenses (school fees, club fees, etc.). A host family simply welcomes them as one of their own and enjoys the experience of learning about Spain and sharing our wonderful city with Jana. I am hoping to connect her with a family in the next couple of weeks so we can secure his spot at one of our public high schools. She will arrive in late July/ early August. Feel free to share my information with anyone who has questions. Our host family application can be accessed at http://www.ciee.org.host.

Here is a note from Jana.

I am a funny, open, and friendly girl. I love music, I have been playing the violin for ten years, and I also love listening to music. I also do ballet, dancing is a very important thing for me, and while on my program I would like to be part of a dance team. I would also like to be in a reading club, since I like to read a lot. I am a little bit self demanding, but I like to put that in a good way and become a better me rather than feeling down because I don’t accomplish my expectations, because of that I like to have good grades, do good with ballet and violin… Another thing that I think that will help me with this experience is that I have stayed with a host family in North Macedonia for a week, and in France for two months. I am looking forward to sharing my culture and my life with my host family and learning a new lifestyle and new life experiences.
