"It 's been nothing short of an amazing journey since I stood at that windy 2013 ribbon cutting in Market Square. I'm thankful to my Leadership Knoxville 2015 Classmate Jim Biggs for his vision running KEC, & his patience with me, Patricia Inés Robledo & several other women the following year as we founded the offshoot Women in Entrepreneurship Knoxville that met once monthly at KEC. What began as a small, "support group" of entrepreneurial women gathered around a table for coffee once monthly, is NOW a thriving tribe of hundreds of women who still gather monthly for meetings. But also now with KEC's support, we populate regular maker conferences, evening networking gatherings, serve as judges in KEC contests & support one another as we pursue our dreams. From a group of about 9 of us, to now hundreds of us, it has been one of the most transformational experiences of my career."
