The Awakened State with Dawa Tarchin Phillips
April 1-2, Sat-Sun,  9am-1pm
Dharma practice culminates in the attainment of Buddha the awakened state. More than
mythology, this state of mature insight into the nature of reality and expansive benefit to self and
others needs to be approached through study, contemplation and practice if one wishes to
emulate the example of the Buddha and his vast achievements.

Special update: Volker Bertelmann (Dawa's cousin; also goes by Hauschka) won an Academy Award on Sunday for composing the soundtrack of All Quiet on the Western Front. Check out his website here and his acceptance speech here. Some of you will remember that he performed on the piano at a Bodhi Path fundraiser at the Lobero in 2016.

Spring Retreat with Dawa Tarchin Phillips
April 24-28 in Ojai, CA.  
 
In times of great change, societal undoing and transformation, dharma practitioners have the opportunity to stay focused and grounded through timeless wisdom and proven practices. It is not the times you live in, but the time you spend in practice, that defines and enables your experience of the world and the people around you.

Join Dharma Teacher Dawa Tarchin Phillips and Bodhi Path Santa Barbara for a restorative and transformative spring meditation retreat in the mountains of Ojai at Camp Ramah. Teachings are based on the 37 Practices of The Bodhisattvas.
 
Attendance of prior retreats or programs not required. All are welcome.

We are looking to put together people who need a ride to Bodhi Path events at the Center with people offering to give rides.  Please send John Tormey an email at johnmtormey@hotmail.com (please include your phone number)

2. if you are willing to give people rides to the center.
 
 We want to help you get to the center if driving is a "challenge" for you for any reason.
