Hello friends,
Together with our VHICF team, I am grateful for the new year that offers new opportunities, to help more children and more families through our various projects. Once again, I would like to ask you to join us in praying for the following matters in our children's homes today.

SCHOOL PROJECT
The school construction project is going well and it has been making a steady progress. We expect to open the school in August. We thank God greatly that we have received full funding for the construction. However, at the moment we are still praying and working to raise money for the school equipment.
|
|
|
We are happy to report that we now have about 70% of funds raised for it. In our website, you can see the progress of donations.
So please pray with us regarding the construction work, pray that everything will continue to run smoothly, that the weather will cooperate and that no accidents will happen. Everything depends on God's protection and blessing!

|
|
NEW CHILDREN IN HOUSE OF HOPE & VILLAGE OF HOPE
Since January we have welcomed 15 new children to our two child-care centers. They were either sexually abused, severely neglected, or abandoned on the streets as orphans. Their stories are truly heartbreaking. Because of this, we are all the more passionate about being able to care for them now.
Pray with us that the children will be able to work through their severe traumas. Pray that they will find their way here, that they will find the love and acceptance they need and that they will be healed in spirit, soul and body.
We are also currently in need of more staff and pray that God will fill the open positions. Also, not all volunteer positions (FSJ) are filled yet. It would be great if we could fill the two remaining open positions.

We also want to pray for all the staff: our caregivers, houseparents, social workers and teachers who are on the front-lines of taking care of our children. They are the ones who feel the full force of all the trauma of the children. We pray that God will always give them the necessary strength, love and patience to deal with all the daily challenges.
Lastly, please pray for our leadership team. We always pray for God's wisdom, guidance and direction so please pray those for us. This is His work and we want to do everything for His glory.
