Dear Friends,

"You are my hiding place;
you
will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.
"
~ Psalms 32:7

Our Nacala campus is indeed surrounded with songs of deliverance as we received 46 students into Bible School and the base is filled with activity, praise and worship, prayer and laughter. The teachers are all in their element, anointed for teaching, healing and deliverance as we start our Bible Course with 'Spiritual Formation' - a time dedicated to salvation, surrender and God-encounter. Repentance and deliverance opens the door to a powerful move of the Holy Spirit, and from this time on the atmosphere changes. There is breakthrough.
Ministering the love of God, salvation and deliverance to the class of 2023
Agostinho: I believe that Spiritual Formation is the Trademark of our Ministry. Each member of the Team was shining in the time that each one was ministering, it was very impactful the involvement of each member of the Team and the wives, we experienced the power of the corporate anointing and the unity of the body of Cisto.

We baptized almost more than 20 students in the waters. At the time of deliverance, the students were so ready to confess and renounce all the evils they had done in the past, it was very interesting that every student was looking for an opportunity to confess everything and ask for help to be delivered from evil.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit was an inexplicable act, only the Holy Spirit could operate that way ~ some students were saturated with the Holy Spirit for hours. From that day on, almost everything changed in the students' lives, the way of praising, worshiping, praying, corresponding with teaching, speaking, listening, thinking and doing things changed drastically in the students' lives, we can see that.

Jemusse: I could cite many testimonies of many students who were delivered, but I will only mention two that touched me so much.

1- Patrício comes from Ouassi (Cabo-Delgado) where he was one of the targets of the insurgents, because of so many ugly and shocking things he saw during that time, he was traumatized and was so afraid. Patrício was afraid of people, any noise, even the rustling of the leaves because of the wind scared him, but I taught him about Sozo and a bit of trauma healing, and now I can see a big smile.

2- Malaquias comes from Mandimba and after spiritual formation he was attacked by demons. The student started to rebel against the teachers, he screamed all night, cried and said that God had raised him as a prophet in this class, but we knew that it wasn't the Holy Spirit, he was already like crazy, but we prayed, we rebuked the demons, we ordered them to release his mind. When he was in his right mind we discovered that this problem started with the father, and had been passed to the son, but we prayed with him, and he is already Free.
Inner Healing and Deliverance ~ Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Water baptism on our public beach ~ a powerful testimony to all around us. Glory to God!
We invited a team from the Ministry of Health to spend a day at the school talking about basic health care, and to do a blood drive. The blood bank reserves are always critical here, and this was a good opportunity to encourage those who can to give blood and save lives. Many people, for a lack of knowledge, are perishing - because there's a lot of superstition and folklore and fear and misunderstanding about the process. Even though only 13 out of our 50+ candidates gave blood, the Health Team was extremely satisfied with the results! They were thrilled to work with us and were quite amazed with what they saw on our campus. We will invite them back to give the rest of the students another chance to donate blood before graduation! It was a learning experience for everyone.
Teacher Training
Before we opened Bible School this year, we arranged with Christiane Maia, our Brazilian friend who is an experienced teacher, trainer and visionary, to come and spend some time with our teachers from the Bible School and the Kids Club. It was a marvellous time of broadening horizons in our teachers of techniques, methods and inspirations of teaching both children and adults. It was an incredibly effective investment, and we attempted to livestream it to our other bases.

Gorongosa, Nampula and Inhaminga participated as best they could in spite of the technological challenges we faced in streaming. In the future we will be better equipped for more effective online team training - this is so important considering the tragic state of our nation's infrastructure - it's becoming more and more difficult to gather all our team together for conferences and seminars. We see this happening more and more online in the future due to travel costs, difficulties and risks.

Muzuane Gets a Wall!
For a long time it's been a desire and a need to build a wall around the Muzuane church property. It's not the most secure of neighbourhoods, and motorbikes constantly zipping through were not only a noisy nuisance during church meetings, but a real hazard when the children from the Kids Club were at play! We are very grateful to Victory World Missions and Ginger Carman who has partnered with us to build a wall on the land perimeter, and work is going very well!

"...and so built they the wall, for a few people had a mind to work..."
Base Developments
Rainy season really slows down construction and development, but progress is still happening. As one Malawian carpentry shop called itself many years ago, "Slow, But Sure". The steel structure for the conference centre is being painted, the surrounds are being landscaped and the blocks are being made. Before we throw ourselves full steam into this, we are finishing off the three staff houses with plumbing, electrics and painting. Still further along on the cards is our workshop development. All this interspersed with constant maintenance and management like replacing worn-out water pipes, combating erosion and looking after the students keep our daily practical plates full!
Thank You for Partnering With Us!
Ashira turns 16 next week and has been selected to represent Nampula province at the Taekwondo Nationals in Inhambane in April. Gabriel is growing in strength and stature and Mikayla continues a hard worker and dedicated to whatever she puts her mind to! We are so proud of these three. Thank you for keeping our family and ministry in your prayers as we continue, as ever, working together for His glory.
