With Easter just a few weeks away I pray that in the busyness of preparing for church services and family get-togethers you have been able to reflect on the significance of this time of year in our faith. Because of what we celebrate at Easter we can have hope in all circumstances, and we get to share that hope with others. In this months email there are a few hopeful opportunities I wanted to make you aware of.
April 16th is Solidarity Sunday. It is a Sunday that we set aside to stand alongside local churches who are on the front lines acting as the hands and feet of Jesus around the globe. This year to help you prepare we have prepared a short video to encourage your church to be praying for our brothers and sisters around the globe, a bookmark you can print for your church to have reminders to pray, as well as a sermon outline and small group discussion based on the sermon.
Everything will be available on our website on March 29th.

This summer, join with friends and make an impact on local and global hunger. Through a partnership with the CBWC in the west, the CBOQ in central Canada, CBAC in the east and the French Baptist Union, we will be active in our mission to take steps to end hunger.
This is a great opportunity to encourage your church to make a significant difference and demonstrate Jesus's love in word and deed in our neighbourhoods and around the globe.
