Rham's Captain's Log:
Rham's Rhamblings, Day 966 'round the globe bottle-less, pint-less, glass-less, shot-less, hope-less-ly hoping, praying, that today I will not take a drink. 966 days. That's almost 1,000 days...and 3 years. But, not today. I don't think. What time is it? Maybe tomorrow. Yes! It is a day to celebrate, after all, ....he thought as a thought of what was once a daily thought in his mind, yes today is a day to celebrate. "I only drink on the days endin' in DAY"...hardyee har har Rham's snarky and quick-witted sly part of his head-brain chimes in like he don't care who's in the room. "That's real funny, fat man. Keep it up and you'll have more ex-wives than middle fingers and where does that leave ya? Alone? Unhappy?"
No. How about aware. Acknowledging. Patient. Persistent.
"GO TO BED, HIPPIE!" enters the cannabis-infused Rham, sometimes known as Rham-a-lama-ding dong, but that not a knock at his intellect but rather his shenanigan's through words and what-not, sometimes in song form, and sometimes the what-not an unexpected surprise, yet through sobriety the only surprise is, is that he's sober. Today anyway.

Hey! Here's a formal invite to my "neck of the woods" that they call Downtown Fort Smith! I invite you down always and I really do try to keep you privy to things to do around here so you always know the door is open...but THIS weekend, my "neck of the woods" means even closer, on the inside, in my backyard one might suggest (I'd be the one suggesting that because Downtown Fort Smith is indeed my backyard and if you need evidence to support such a claim, my brothers and my sisters, I can provide more than evidence because the proof is in the pudding and I love pudding. I don't know there's pudding on any menu this weekend, but SATURDAY, all day (8AM-10PM) 3rd Street in Downtown Fort Smith between Garrison Avenue and A Street is gonna be hoppin' with some FUN, and well, you know me and fun and what-not, especially the what-not. So, come on down! I've become mighty partial to 3rd Street, the peeps, my fam! It's a great little pocket in Downtown Fort Smith, with a group of folks "Loving Fort Smith Out Loud" one day at a time.... That's the ticket, folks. I try to surround myself with that, honestly, just about every day. How does one accomplish such a feat? Hard work. Determination. Stubbornness, really. And, out loud. That helps. Hopefully more than just me. Does keep me from double-fisting two beers. Found myself double-fisting two microphones the other day. Such is life, I suppose. But all sorts of cool stuff happening at the
"2ND ANNUAL 3RD STREET FAIR" including some cornhole at around 4PM. I'm going to throw a set of boards down and just play a few rounds, explain to anyone the rules, and maybe even pull out some trick shots, that, if edited correctly on the Tiky-Tok, can for some serious meme'ness. Let's Meme' -- I'll have the best view of the entire thing...just sayin.

It can be done, completing a "Captain's Log" at the front deck at The Mill, amidst talks and tours, walks and sliding doors... It was a glorious completion...
