Details
We will keep our official business very short and sweet at our AGM (download the agenda here), and attendees are treated to a visual presentation filled with photos of the amazing things FOTP has been up to in the past year (our Chair's report) as well as feedback on our IUCN SOS rapid action restoration project.

We will also be sharing more about our short FOTP conservation film titled: "Extinction Rebellion: The story of Tokai Park’s plant diversity".
We will end the evening with a cheese and wine social, which everyone is invited to join for free. We will also be selling indigenous trees, hacking/gardening tools, FOTP shirts, and license disc stickers to raise funds for the society, so please do bring cash, or your snapscan app, to support us!

Indigenous tree list:
  • Podocarpus latifolius* (Real Yellowwood)
  • Rapanea melanophloeo* (Cape Beech)
  • Harpephyllum caffrum** (African Plum)
  • Sideroxylon inerme* (White Milkwood)
  • Erythrina caffra** (South African Coral Tree)
  • Olea europaea ssp. cuspidata* (African Olive)
  • Celtis africana** (White Stinkwood)
*These trees are indigenous to the Fynbos Biome, but not to Cape Flats Sand Fynbos at Tokai Park.
**These trees are indigenous to South Africa.

These are all nice options for planting in local gardens, should you have access to sufficient water.
