About the Speaker:
Mildred Treash is a positive and energetic leader with 15+ years of experience in the field of education, with five of these years being at UCLA. As a first-gen college student, daughter of immigrants, Latina woman who was also a young parent of twins, she is very proud to have the opportunity to apply her unique strengths and skills to serve the UCLA community.
She is currently a Senior Assistant Director at the UCLA Career Center co-leading a team that works closely with the 40,000+ employers seeking to hire UCLA students and graduates. In this role, she has worked towards developing structures and systems that will increase the impact in helping to connect all UCLA students to meaningful career opportunities. Mildred also serves on the board of Oak Valley College, a small, private college in her hometown of Rialto, CA. Prior roles included organizing professional development programs for executives from top organizations, leading a student-centered program at a community college, and being a college instructor.
Mildred has an M.S. in Higher Education Leadership and Student Development from California Baptist University, teaching credentials from California State University San Bernardino, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
