Our Discernment Team at St. Matthew's wants to remind you about the important meeting we have Thursday night at 6:00 p.m.; David Stotts (Mississippi Conference Treasurer) and Rev. Dr. Stephen Cook (East and West Jackson District Superintendent) will be with us at 6:00 p.m. to provide more information and answer questions about the disaffiliation process as our church discerns whether to remain affiliated with the UMC.
This is an important meeting and will hopefully answer many of the questions that many of us may have.
There will be a nursery provided.

If you would like to offer any feedback to the Team, you can email them here - team@stm-umc.org. And they will begin various listening sessions with Sunday School classes and other groups in the near future.
The Team would also encourage you to make plans to attend the "Chat and Chew" with Bishop Lewis on April 22 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This will be a chance for church members to meet Bishop Lewis and engage her in conversation.
