Downtown OKC Green Team One-Year Anniversary
March marks the one year anniversary of the Downtown OKC Green Team, the clean and safe program in the Downtown Business Improvement District (BID). The Green Team is administered by Block By Block, an operations service provider, and is integral to keeping our downtown area clean, safe, and welcoming.
The program's core services include trash and litter removal, street vacuuming, power washing, and homeless outreach in the Downtown BID. Downtown stakeholders and the public can request services by texting or calling the Green Team at 405-240-1944.

The 10th Annual Starlight Supper returns to its original format at a new location
The original Starlight Supper fundraiser is returning in a big way for its 10th annual event on Thursday, May 11, offering an exclusive downtown outdoor dining experience like no other. Join us for an unforgettable evening of tasting dishes from downtown’s best chefs, sipping on wine and bubbles, and enjoying live music. This year's event will be held at the City Center East Garage and tickets go on sale Thursday, April 6 at 10am. Best of all, proceeds go towards making downtown OKC a better place for all. Save the date for this Spring's Midtown Walkabout
Midtown Walkabout returns this spring on Saturday, April 15, and will take place from 12-4pm. This bi-annual event will be filled with special promotions and activities for those shopping, eating, and visiting the district. Midtown merchants will be offering in-store specials, discounts, and activities during their normal operating hours, in addition to free family programming throughout the district provided by the Midtown Association and Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership.

Factory Obscura hosts creative market and music
This Saturday, March 25, Factory Obscura will host both their Spring Artist Market as well as their Future of Sound Fest in Automobile Alley. Shop handmade art and goods from local artists at the Artist Market from 3-6pm, in conjunction with six live bands performing in Artist Alley for the Future of Sound Fest going until 10pm. Don't miss this spectacle of creative collaboration on 9th Street.

There is still time to register for the 2023 Memorial Marathon
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon will return for its annual Run to Remember hosting the Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay, 5K, Kids Marathon, and new Senior Marathon races throughout the weekend of April 28-30. - Traffic Control: Southbound Broadway Ave. will be closed between Main St. and Park Ave. There will be two northbound lanes open during this time.

🚧 NW 8th St. and Hudson Ave. - Storm Water Vault
- Traffic Control: Southbound Hudson Ave. will be closed between NW 7th St. and NW 8th St. Street parking is open on Hudson Ave. between NW 7th St and the alley just to the north, and sidewalks remain open for pedestrian access to area businesses.

Transit Center Remodel Update - 3/20/2023
Heavy construction will be happening at EMBARK's downtown Transit Center. As a result, bays L, Q, and I will be temporarily relocated through Spring .
🚧 Route 014 - Bay Q will relocate to NW 5th St. facing east
🚧 Route 012 - Bay L will relocate to NW 4th St., facing west
🚧Weekend Route 040 - Bay I will relocate to Hudson, facing south
This work is part of a project to improve the customer experience and enhance safety and security at EMBARK's downtown Transit Center with a $1.8 million remodel that includes:
🚧 Installation of all-new LED exterior lighting: 2/2/23-4/1/23
🚧 Upgrades to the HVAC system: 3/20/23 (duration 2-4 weeks)
🚧 Renovation of the public restrooms & customer service area: Coming Soon
