Help us keep the magic of Folklife alive!
1974 NW Folklife Festival - Skandia Parade Fiddlers

Our New Logo

In light of last year's cultural focus, Metamorphosis, we thought it an appropriate time to reimagine our logo, drawing inspiration from the elements that sustain us: water, the sun, the moon, and stars. We hope you find inspiration in our new logo as we have to prompt conversations about Folk as a sustaining and ever-evolving practice.

Staff Spotlight

Q: How are you incorporating Lagom or balance into your life?

A: I practice Lagom as I clear through old belongings. Sifting through items, I share an odd attachment is a memory-inducing practice for me. I’m finding balance in what memories are important to hold on to and what can be passed on. Mark Grenfell, Programs Coordinator
