Easter Performance
Join Central Mission Center and Open Arms Theatre Ministry for the 2023 Easter Drama. This year’s performance is called “At the Cross” it is a collection of monologues and short scenes from Biblical characters that were there that day. You will be invited to follow the footsteps of the ones surrounding Jesus on His journey to the cross in a guided tour along the worshippers path at the Community Of Christ Temple. Performances will be on Saturday, April 8th beginning at 7:00pm and concludes with a short worship service in the Sanctuary at 8:30pm and Sunday, April 9th at 8:00am (lasts about 45 mins). We can’t wait to see you all there. |

We are looking for individuals who are open to working with adults with intellectual disabilities in this super fun and unique camping environment. Lake Doniphan Conference and Retreat center is an excellent location to join together for a weekend of building community and connections. As a congregation you are also encouraged to plan to attend Agape Reunion together. It could be a planned evening to join the rest of the Mission Center for a worship service and evening events or you could all register and spend the week with us! Our Peace Award recipient—Community Peacemaker Teams—will offer Lunch and Learn sessions in English, French, and Spanish (this presentation via Zoom). The sessions have different presenters, but the same content for both Saturday and Monday, and for all languages. Sack lunches will be available for purchase at the temple. Please meet in the Continents Room for the English presentation. All are welcome! You do not have to be a delegate or registered for conference to attend. | | Employment Opportunity The Peace Pavilion is seeking part-time docents. The position is 19-hours per week at $15 per hour. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, showing the introductory and lesson videos, and guiding through exhibit areas. Also, docents assist in support of other Pavilion activities. Previous work with children, nonprofits, or other areas related to care for the earth, building community, interpersonal relationships, or personal care is helpful, but optional. Are you a high schooler looking to serve at camp in a leadership role? Have you felt led to give back to your camping community? Do you enjoy working with children? Do you want to be a Camp Doniphan longer throughout our summer? If you’ve answered “yes" to any or all of these questions, then we would love to have you apply as a Counselor-In-Training at Junior Camp this summer! CIT’s are youth who are assigned to share responsibility in leadership roles with an experienced adult counselor as a mentor. CIT’s must be at least 15 years of age. Opportunities as a CIT include, but are not limited to: |

Assist cabin counselors, help create a welcoming camping community, be sensitive to the needs of campers, teach or assist in teaching a fun class, attend a CIT training session and camp staff meetings, mentor young campers in various ways, and lead campers in cabin activities such as skits, devotions, classes, worship experiences, big events, and more! |
