Stop the Evictions from El Rancho!
Join us for a community celebration and mobilization in solidarity with the residents of El Rancho Mobile Home Park in the Cully neighborhood!
The residents, led by La Casa Comun organizers Jazmin Velez and Blanca Orozco and others, have been building relationships and collective power since last year as the challenges they have been having with the park owner have intensified.
Several residents have received unjust eviction notices in the past week, just as the democratically elected Residents' Committee invited the owner to a meeting to discuss changes they want to see in the park.
Please come, and invite your friends and family, as we hear from the residents about their struggle, put pressure on the owner to stop the evictions, and celebrate springtime and our power in community with food, music, and neighbors!
