Clackamas County's Cohort needs your support Thursday at 10am!

Today’s news that Clackamas County Chair Tootie Smith rescinded her vote to approve the purchase of a hotel for transitional housing has left us shocked and utterly disappointed. This unorthodox move will only serve to set back the county’s efforts to bring unhoused neighbors inside in Clackamas County. 

Chair Smith’s decision to hijack a land use meeting in order to reverse her vote is a failure of county leadership, not to mention a huge insult to the tireless organizing that has gone into this project over the last two years. More than two-thirds of those surveyed by Clackamas County were in support of Project Turnkey. 

ACTION ALERT: We’re asking partners from all over the Tri-county area to join us during Thursday's Clackamas County regular board meeting to show your disappointment for Chair Smith’s last-minute vote reversal. You don’t need to be a Clackamas County resident to join!
