I will admit that I’m not much of a gardener. I daydream of a fruit and vegetable garden, growing bountifully in recycled-material garden beds, with a nearby flower garden, perfect for kitchen table clippings.

The reality, however, is that my backyard is happy to just get a mowing and my front yard is overgrown with purple, flowery weeds that I’m trying to convince myself are “beautiful."

That’s why I’m glad Southwood Landscape and Garden Center has a bustling indoor plant section. I can handle some occasional watering and enjoy the beauty of nature (that’s more well-kept than my outdoors) from the comfort of my couch.

And when you give $10 a month or more, or a one-time gift of $120, to Public Radio Tulsa, you could too!
Here’s MY pledge!
TODAY is the LAST DAY to get the Southwood $20 e-gift certificate! Give now before this offer is over.
Thanks, and happy indoor gardening,

Julianne Tran, Development Associate
P.S. We need 25 more pledges to meet our challenge! If we meet it, we’ll get an extra $2,500 from Curry Family Foundation. Give HERE to help us meet this challenge and get a $20 e-gift certificate to Southwood as thanks!
