I will admit that I’m not much of a gardener. I daydream of a fruit and vegetable garden, growing bountifully in recycled-material garden beds, with a nearby flower garden, perfect for kitchen table clippings.
The reality, however, is that my backyard is happy to just get a mowing and my front yard is overgrown with purple, flowery weeds that I’m trying to convince myself are “beautiful."
That’s why I’m glad Southwood Landscape and Garden Center has a bustling indoor plant section. I can handle some occasional watering and enjoy the beauty of nature (that’s more well-kept than my outdoors) from the comfort of my couch.
And when you give $10 a month or more, or a one-time gift of $120, to Public Radio Tulsa, you could too!
