Friends,
Resurrection Sunday was spectacular! If you joined us in-person or online, I hope you were moved by the worship experience. I know I was. I want to thank everyone who helped make the day possible: The Music Ministry, Worship Leaders, Deacons, Trustees, Security Team, Pantry Volunteers, AV Team, Models Inc. for the food and Easter egg hunt, Sarah Fairbrother for ordering the lilies, and all of you for showing up and showing out!

We are resurrection people!
Listen--I'm mailing out greeting cards and I don't have some of your addresses. Please send your address to Sarah Fairbrother at rsbc@riversidedc.org. If you've moved, please update your address.

Join us for worship this Sunday!
In-person and Virtually (

Congregational Meeting | April 30
Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 11:30am
Save the date for our quarterly congregational meeting. At this meeting, we will welcome prospective members with a vote of affirmation, discuss key business of the church, and announce new leaders. Please be in attendance.
INTERESTED IN JOINING RIVERSIDE?
Are you interested in formally becoming a member of our community?

Here at Riverside DC, we welcome new members into our community quarterly at our congregational meeting. Being a member at Riverside is not about following a creed or requiring you to be baptized or give a certain amount of money. Membership here is about community. We want to walk with you through the many seasons of your life, and for you feel like this place is home. And we want you to walk with us--to change us for the better, and to help us carry out Jesus' mission of liberation.

At Riverside, our one law is love of God and neighbor.  Justice matters, so we celebrate gender equality, racial diversity, and inclusion of all persons no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity. We draw the circle of God’s love large. You’re included.

Our next congregational meeting is Sunday, April 30, 2023 after worship.

New here and want to know more about us?

Riverside Members in Motion
Check out our very own Kenneth Tinsley in this month's edition of The Southwester!

“Kenneth is an inspiration to his peers, and I am sure he doesn’t realize his impact,” said Peter Gibbs, retired director of the Office of Surety Guarantees at the U.S. Office of The Small Business Administration. “His ability to go after his dreams, despite all the obstacles he faces in a very competitive industry is an inspiration to me. I am so proud of his journey, but I value him as a person more than anything."

At this gathering, we will discuss how frequently participants would like to meet and if there is interest in a virtual option.

While this group aims to be a resource for our community, it is not meant to be a substitute for a relationship with a licensed health professional. Email Rev. Mia at pastor@riversidedc.org for additional resources.
We are excited to welcome Reverend Robin Williams Evans back to the Riverside DC pulpit this spring! Rev.
