From the studio to the stage!

"(would that) I AM HERE" started as two pieces of choreography learned in Reconnect classes that merged into one piece performed at Dance Found: an annual showcase for adults who take classes at Colorado Conservatory of Dance. We were so happy to return to the stage and are beyond proud of our performance company.

Whether we are performing on stage, dancing in the studio, or Zooming in from our living rooms, we have never doubted for one moment that Dance Is Love. If you feel the same way, we invite you to support Art as Action as we continue to dance into 2023 by contributing to our annual fundraiser in April for Parkinson's Awareness month.

OUR MISSION: Art as Action brings people together at the intersection of dance, (dis)ability and creative potential.

We are proud to be a Tier III Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) organization.

Art as Action is funded in part by a generous grant from Community ACTS Fund, which reflects the reality that arts and cultural philanthropy has not equitably supported our state’s evolving cultural landscape. As our communities continue to diversify, the fund is dedicated to fostering growth and sharing resources with the Tier III organizations uniquely fit to serve them.
