On the night before Jesus died, he asked his disciples to stay awake and pray with him. In the spirit of Christ's invitation, you are invited to join us in a prayer vigil this Holy Week. Our church community will spend 24 hours in prayer beginning at 8:00 pm on Maundy Thursday, April 6 and ending at 8:00 pm on Good Friday, April 7. You can sign up to pray at the church, or select one of the overnight shifts to pray from home.

There are two roles available during the prayer vigil:

Pray: If you sign up to pray you will spend one hour in prayer. There are two slots available for each hour at the church, and one slot for each overnight hour to pray from home. Families are welcome to sign up to pray together. At church there will be devotionals, bibles, and prayer stations with activities available in the sanctuary and parlor, and you are welcome pray in the Memory Garden or walk our outdoor labyrinth.

Host: If you sign up to host, you will sit in the foyer outside the sanctuary. During your shift, you will unlock the door for those coming and going to pray, assist with the provided coffee and refreshments, and fill Easter eggs for our upcoming egg hunt.

Note: If you sign up to pray, you might also consider signing up to be the host during the hour before or after your prayer time.
