In this class, we will guide you through the intricate process of selecting the perfect combinations of wine and charcuterie to elevate your palate and enhance your sensory experiences.
Through a series of guided tastings, students will explore the following pairings:
2021 Unoaked Chardonnay & Goat Cheese and Feta Cheese: Experience the crisp and refreshing notes of this bright, unoaked Chardonnay as it complements the tangy and creamy flavors of goat cheese and feta. Learn how the acidity of the wine balances the richness of the cheese, creating a harmonious pairing that delights the senses.
2017 Chardonnay Reserve & Havarti and Swiss Cheese: Savor the buttery, oaky undertones of this Chardonnay Reserve as it pairs beautifully with the nutty and creamy textures of Havarti and Swiss cheese. Discover how the wine's full body enhances the cheese's complex flavors, while the cheese softens the wine's oakiness.
2020 Pinot Noir & Brie: Indulge in the elegance of this delicate Pinot Noir as it intertwines with the creamy, earthy flavors of Brie. Explore how the wine's subtle berry and earth notes complement the buttery texture of the cheese, creating a luxurious and velvety experience.
