Wake Forest Debate team wins national championship
After a full, 20-hour day of debating in the final, the stamina and hard work paid off for the Wake Forest debate team, which defeated the University of Michigan on a 4-1 decision. It took thousands of research hours and practice crafting their arguments to arrive at that moment.
Beware of fraudulent phone calls to parents
Wake Forest University Police has received information regarding a fraud scheme in which the non-emergency number for WFU police was spoofed. The caller tells a parent or family member that their student has been arrested and bail bond money must be sent using Venmo.
Key pass/fail dates coming up
The last day to change from pass/fail to a letter grade in an approved full-term class is Friday, April 7. The last day to change from pass/fail to a letter grade in an approved second part-of-term class is Thursday, April 13.
Campus Days for Accepted students, April 10 and 14
Campus Days for Accepted Students will take place April 10 and 14. Students should expect to see a lot of prospective members of the Class of 2027 and their families on campus both days.
