On March 17, the School of Medicine celebrated Match Day, the annual ceremony that “matches” medical students to residency programs where they will train as physicians. During a special moment of the program, Dr. Carol Major, pictured, congratulated student David Bustillo, whom she had delivered 31 years earlier. Of the 100 who matched, more than half are staying in Southern California to train in their residencies and serve our community.
