Sunday worship at 11:15am -
In-Person and on YouTube
Boonton UMC: A fun, musical, relevant, relational, and compassionate church
where people find hope, healing, and wholeness.
Yesterday, we left in the silence and darkness of Good Friday. Today, we enter into the continued silence of Holy Saturday. And tomorrow, with Mary Magdalene in John 20, we will meet Jesus in the garden after a long Lenten journey that has been full of inviting God, our Gardener, to prune us and have God's way in us.
Come, and join us for a very special worship experience for Easter Sunday as we hear the good news of the resurrection proclaimed together!
Whether in-person or on YouTube, we look forward to seeing you for Sunday worship at 11:15am!

What is the Bible? How did it come to be? How can we understand it better? This class is not a class where we learn about Bible doctrine, but a class where we learn about the Bible itself, and give you the tools you need to understand it better.
NEW Topic!: Wednesday Bible Study
Join us as we begin a new study of 2 Corinthians next week! We'll meet every Wednesday at 11am in the church narthex.
For any tithes and offerings you have for this Sunday, we invite you to bring them with you and drop them off in the offering plates when they come around during the offertory song of our service.
You are also welcome to continue giving in the following ways:
They will have Stations of the Cross specially designed by local artists reflecting on the addiction crisis. These will be open for viewing, prayer and reflection through April 15th.
Remember when the Matsiko Choir came to our church several years ago? Well, they're back next month and will be performing over at St. Peter's Episcopal Church! Everyone in the community is welcome.
Skylands Prayer Gathering
Saturday, May 13th, 11am-1pm
We invite you to gather with people throughout our district to pray and intercede for all the hurt, pain, violence, and destruction in our nation and in the world.
A message from our District Superintendent, Rev. Eunice:
We are living difficult days indeed!
Our communities are hurting, our country is hurting, our world is hurting. Hate, violence, discrimination, racism, and injustice are rampant. There is war, natural disasters all over the world like flooding, tornados, hurricanes, and earthquakes, like the recent ones in Turkey and Syria that killed over 42,000 people. There is chaos everywhere. Some of us are going through or have a loved one who is going through a difficult illness, broken relationship, addiction, abuse, loss of a loved one, unemployment, lack of resources. There is so much trouble in this world. Sometimes we feel that there is nothing we can do because it is quite overwhelming. But God call each one of us to persevere in our faith, trust in God, move us into action and pray without ceasing. God also calls us to pray as one body, the Body of Christ to pray and intercede together for a hurting world. For this reason, I am inviting all church members of the Skylands District, clergy, and laity alike, to gather on Saturday, May 13th for communal prayer and intercession.
Siblings in Christ, we have not gathered in person as the Skylands District for three years. This will be a great opportunity to pray together and have fellowship with one another.
