Easter Day
April 9, 2023
for Today
Mighty God, in whom we know the power of redemption, you stand among us in the shadows of our time.  As we move through every sorrow and trial of this life, uphold us with knowledge of the final morning when, in the glorious presence of your risen Son, we will share in his resurrection, redeemed and restored to the fullness of life
and forever freed to be your people.

Amen.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus for you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Now if you are unwilling to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."  Joshua 24:15

Pray for ALL Christians Held Against their Will

Please call out to the Lord for Christians held against their will throughout the world. Ask that the missionaries still being held will know His perfect peace as they keep their minds focused on God (Isaiah 26:3) and that they will soon be released. Pray that the light of Christ will shine brilliantly in all the group and that the forces of darkness will not be able to withstand it (John 1:5)

 Lord, Bless us Every Way . . . Every Day

A Collect for Peace

Most holy God, the source of all good desires, all right judgements, and all just works: Give to us, your servants, that peace which the world cannot give, so that our minds may be fixed on the doing of your will, and that we, being delivered from the fear of all enemies, may live in peace and quietness;
through the mercies of Christ Jesus our Savior. Amen.

Online Giving

Allows the giver to set up the amount that you would like to give and never have to worry about writing another check, forgetting your envelope, or having cash in your wallet. Our parish greatly appreciates all those who choose to give in this manner as it helps us maintain a consistent cash flow and pay all of our bills in a timely manner. May God bless you for your faithfulness.

Note: If you do not wish to give online you can still mail checks directly to the church.
