two wonderfully crafted Kreisler USA White Gold bracelets, both as advertised in Vogue in 1947, now on site, either joined as a choker necklace or graduated pair of bracelets, or individually... stunning, pristine Hattie Carnegie 1972 (inspired by the Tutankhamun exhibitions) Egyptian revival Scarab bangle, white enamel and pearl, never here before...

totally fantastic figurals - Pennino Sterling, silver Starflower pin, with amethyst Trillium flower garnish- those flowers now firmly dated to 1944-45 by adverts (which long predate the later patents)... Trifari Philippe Jewelled Symphony Ballerina, 1950 series with ads, patents... Trifari Philippe (always a Frenchman) 'Fleur de Paris' magnificent ruby fruit salad bunch of flowers, with series naming advert, and early 1949 patent... the amazing Trifari Philippe Vintage Car, originally for the 1956 'Paris in the Spring' collection, this example with fixed wheels and brushed gold on the back, from a later 60s production (as was done with the Honeymooners' Coach)...

and serious DeRosa discoveries - the spectacular Peacock with a Pearl, in tonight's update, has a 1950 Women's Wear Daily reference - but the earlier series on which it was based, was dated and named in a superb new 1941 Woodward & Lothrop Washington DC ad, as a Chinese Kingfisher (previously here on site) - the advert now added to the (sold) DeRosa golden bow (which cost $50 in 1941) - and that new advert also shows that the 1947 Sterling 'Russian Victorian' series, on site now with the bracelet (linked above), was also first produced in 1941... the De Rosa company, as did Trifari and Boucher, in 1947-8 revisiting prewar 1941 designs...
