1619 Project, 2nd Episode: Race

Please join All Together Williamsburg for a viewing of the second 1619 Project Movie: Race. Examining the construct of race as a political invention, while tracing the impact that has had on Black women's bodies and reproductive lives. Hulu’s six-part 1619 Docuseries seeks to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the center of our national narrative.  Starring: Nikole Hannah-Jones

All are welcome. A facilitated discussion will follow the film.
