THIS SUNDAY'S WORSHIP
 A Life of Sacrifice
John 20:19-31

Led by Seminarian Tyler Simmons, we will be diving into what the Christian life of sacrifice looks like, and how Jesus gives us hope as we struggle with the sacrifices in our own lives.

Click here for the worship folders, to register your online worship and to line to the livestream.
IN OUR PRAYERS
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We praise God for the baptism of the Sesay children last Sunday and pray for their continued growth in the faith as they become All-In Disciples for Christ!

We pray for healing for:
  • Joyce Kolnik, home from hip replacement surgery last week
  • Earl Willenbrock, Sr., released to rehab
  • Ron Solovic, brother of Vicki Pritchett, recovering from COVID
We offer our praises to God for the wonderful blessings He granted to our Holy Week worship.
  • For the privilege of inviting the community to experience the love of Christ
  • For His gathering many people to hear the Gospel proclaimed by our congregation
To request prayer, go to the Prayer Page on our website.  You can indicate if you want the prayers to be confidential or included in the Sunday prayers and/or the e-news. You also can sign up to be a Prayer Partner.
WELCOME TO ST. LUCAS
Sesay Family

We joyfully welcome the Sesay family to our midst!  Mother, Mavis, is originally from Ghana, West Africa.  Her children, Nanama, Akosua, Paayaw, and Jibril were welcomed into the Christian Church through Baptism this past Sunday at our Easter celebration at the late service. The family connected to St. Lucas through the Early Childhood Center, in which Jibril is enrolled.

When you see them next, be sure to warmly welcome this wonderful family to our church.
THANK YOU, CHURCH!

It's impossible to sufficiently express our thanks to God and the dedicated volunteers, too numerous to mention, who made our Holy Week observances so well-done and meaningful.

All our worship services and other events required so much hard work and dedication; St. Lucas met the challenge.  We are blessed with great talent and the willingness to use it for Christ's Kingdom.

We thank:
  • Our musicians and other participants and volunteers for using their gifts to enhance our worship services
  • The outreach workers and elders, who made scores of contacts to encourage attendance
  • The volunteers at the Egg Hunt for a fabulous event, and
  • The Men's Club for the delicious breakfast and many others!

COFFEE TAWLK ON GENEROSITY
April 23, 9:15 in the Gym

Please join us for the All-In Discipleship Coffee Tawlk discussion on Generosity, Sunday, April 23 at 9:15 a.m. in the gym at St. Lucas.   Hosted by Carol Miksad, it will be a casual, informal, and friendly discussion on what it means to be an All-In Giver.  As always, there will be a light breakfast served!   You won't want to miss it!
ALL-IN GENEROSITY

We have a God that is in the multiplication business! His math is entirely different than our math – He takes what we offer and turns it into more than we can ever imagine.   With God at the helm, we can be generous; we don’t need to worry that God will stop providing for us. We trust His promise to take care of us; He will multiply the bread and fish just as He did in Luke 9:16-17 when we put our trust in Him. When we give to the Lord, He brings forth an abundance.
All-In Generosity begins with the understanding that what we give is not really “ours”.    Everything we are and have belongs to God. He is the owner of all things. We are simply stewards of what God entrusts to our management.   As All-In Disciples, we give cheerfully, proportionately, regularly, and sacrificially.
