Thank you for attending the RISE Symposium and RISE For Industry events
Thank you to all that joined the annual
Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Entrepreneurship (RISE) Symposium on April 5th. The day focused on the importance of innovating together and our individual roles as Stewards, to promote prosperity while protecting the planet, and was a great opportunity to share how Georgian College continues to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through work across the college.
The exclusive RISE for Industry Lunch and Tour, sponsored by the Regional Manufacturing Partners Alliance, was a unique opportunity to learn more about the ways Georgian College assists area manufacturers, businesses and community organizations through its research, innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities and expertise. Participants networked and learned about the offerings and ongoing projects in the Research and Innovation Department, such as data management, product development and testing, electrical and mechanical design, as well as the many ways the college supports entrepreneurs and business growth through the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre. It was a great way to meet new organizations, connect with local business leaders and share more about the Regional Manufacturing Partners Alliance, who continue to work together to support employers throughout the region. We look forward to sharing the opportunities that will be offered at RISE 2024 next spring!
