Let’s level up together!

ChatGPT can't do what you can...or can it?

Ideas for Implementation!

Here are three ideas for using this video in your class:
  1. I Do, We Do, You Do: Try one (or all) of the suggestions in the video as a class. Model what to do, work together to refine the queries you input into the platform, and then have the learners try one of the activities on their own.
  2. Digital Journals or Portfolios: Brainstorm other ways learners would like to use ChatGPT to enhance their original work. Document the list and have learners keep a learning journal or portfolio of their experimentation with the tool.
  3. Celebrate Originality: Collect learner samples or other samples of original work that align with curricular needs (anything from social media posts, to news articles, to love sonnets). Craft a ChatGPT query to create something similar and then keep a running list of all the ways that the original samples were superior. This focus will help learners better understand aspects of meaning making at play beyond grammatical competence.
