Special coffee hour
Sunday April 16 following Eucharist
All are invited to celebrate Carrie Schofield-Broadbent's election to Bishop Coadjutor-Elect in the Diocese of Maryland. This will be her last visit to our parish and we want to demonstrate our gratitude for all she has done for us as a parish as well as send her on to her new ministry with our heartfelt prayers. Come share a piece of cake as we wish Canon Carrie well. All are invited to bring something to add to the coffee hour goodies.
Women's Spirituality
Mondays at 7:00 pm
The Women’s Book Group will be reading Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible inspired by Rachel Held Evans.
If you’d like to join in the discussion and fellowship, contact Barbara Swetman at bswetman@hamilton.edu or Jan Wilson at wilsons1975@gmail.com and we will send you the link.
Men's Group
Wednesdays at 8:30 am
The Men's Discussion Group has just begun reading Good Enough (40ish Devotionals for a Life of Imperfection) by Kate Bowler and Jessica Richie. We plan to read these devotionals through Lent, to remind us that "Perfection is impossible, but transformation isn't. We can change a bit, if we really want to." (Preface ix)
All are welcome to join us in this reading and conversation.
We meet via Zoom from 8:30 am to 9:30 am each Wednesday morning.
Contact Randy Wilson at randyw7150@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
Zumba
Zumba will take place in the parish on Mondays and Wednesdays! Contact Helen Dick for more information.

St. James Office Help Needed
Our Office Administrator Caitlin Richer will be away on family/maternity leave. In her absence, it would be great to have someone from our parish family to work several days a week for an hour or two in the church office. General responsibilities include opening and sorting mail, stamping invoices with the "received stamp"; folding and stapling service bulletins. Also taking voice messages off the answering machine, and notifying the Wardens or others of messages to be returned,
This is a paid job @ $13.00/hr.
If you have an interest, please contact Randy Wilson at 315-790-1326

We thank everyone very much for your participation in the Lenten giving. We will add the Committee's matching $2500 and send a check for $5245 to ERD to help it continue its wonderful humanitarian work.

Fair Trade Shop @ Stone Presbyterian
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other single-day national festival, largely due to America’s enthusiasm for what many consider a holiday, although it is not an official holiday in America. Come and check out some fun things you can purchase to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
Our Felted Wool Lucky Gnomes from Guatemala are wee fellows that will bring luck to your home and a smile to your face year round. They have a string for hanging, but they like to sit on a shelf, too.
Our mystical, magical Felted Wool Unicorn has a gentle smile, a golden horn and a fluffy, tri-colored mane and tail. He is lovingly hand-crafted by artisans in Guatemala also. Legend has it that unicorns have magical powers, to heal sickness and to render poisoned water potable.
These and MANY, MANY MORE uniquely handcrafted gift items from 38 different countries can be found at our FAIR TRADE SHOP, STONE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 8 SO. PARK ROW, CLINTON. Our regular hours are 10am to 4pm every Thursday and SECOND SATURDAYS. Purchasing fair trade items ensures artisans and small farmers fair wages and healthy working conditions, providing dignity, sustainable development and hope for marginalized people. LET US BE YOUR GO-TO GIFT SHOP! Visit us at https://buildingstonesshoppe.square.site or www.facebook.com/buildingstonesfairtradeshoppe.

St. James’ Episcopal Church is a community of faith where we come together in Christ to develop spiritually through worship and Spirit-led action. We experience the sacred through our liturgy, music, hospitality, and shared ministries. As part of our outreach mission to the greater Clinton area, the parish campus is used by various community groups as a place of meeting and fellowship. We are continually and prayerfully exploring ways to transform the world through loving faith-filled service.
