Iowa Learning Farms Webinar: Field-Scale Mapping of Evapotranspiration  

Join Iowa Learning Farms April 26 at noon for a webinar featuring Iowa State University’s Antonio Arenas, assistant professor, Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering.


In the webinar, Arenas will discuss the analysis and estimation of water consumption by crops at one quarter acre resolution. Sharing evapotranspiration data spanning 2016-2021, he will discuss the correlations between understanding water consumption by crops and water resource management practices.

Iowa Water Recreation Survey

Participate in this survey on Iowa’s lakes! Your input will be extremely valuable to the research a University of Iowa student is conducting for an M.S. in Public Health.

In taking part in this survey, you will be providing important information on how the public understands and receives communication on harmful algal blooms here in the state of Iowa. The survey is designed to be brief, taking approximately 10 minutes to complete. All answers and any identifiers are confidential and will only be used for research purposes.
