First, I have some Housekeeping to get out of the way. I added to my blog last week and this week an additional note regarding an *Analog Alternative*. I have joked for years that I am an *Analog Girl in a Digital World* - plus, I'm an Elder of the Tribe now. I love that all things are possible but I don't have enough time left on the planet to learn it all so I have to focus on my own Truth & Purpose! LOL! which is NOT managing technology, fighting invisible third-parties and paying for the privilege. On. The. Ground. Community is what we need to be cultivating in our respective Villages. In 2020, after hosting online events for 20+ years, I was hoping to begin doing my events in-person with you all. Covid hijacked that idea but I haven't let it die, I am re-dreaming how I would like to do that but I still want to do it. So for those of you who feel comfortable in groups of 20 people or less, I hope to be creating annual events in Atlanta & Oakland and anywhere else that will have me, frankly. I've been a Solitary Priestess for many years and there is tremendous value & power in Community.
Anyway, this week, we enter the Mercury Retrograde Zone, where it will slow down and recalibrate things in our Taurus Dept. We get 3-4 opportunities per year to *pause for the cause* - meaning, take a Mental Health Break - by your own definition. Mercury Retrograde is a mixed blessing.
On one hand, it seems to coincide with slow-downs & breakdowns with travel, communication, mechanics & technology but it can also bring breakthroughs internally, on a personal level. Mercury is about how you think, process & integrate the information you are picking up as you navigate life.
Periodically, it is a good idea to clean those filters and re-set your consciousness. If you have strong Taurus/Scorpio or Leo/Aquarius, then this is personal & customized for you. For the rest of us, it will be those Houses/Areas of Life where Mercury will activate an upgrade.
