Compost Update!
We have been adding things into our 2nd compost bin and turning it weekly and our 1st bin has been transferred to bin 3 where it will drain its moisture into our liquid catchment and slowly finish curing over the next few weeks. We recently added perforated tubing to help the pile breath while it finishes off.

Garden Movie Night: The Biggest Little Farm
Stop by the garden on April 12th at sunset (7:45pm) to watch a heartwarming film about a regenerative farm in California. “ The Biggest Little Farm chronicles the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature. Through dogged perseverance and embracing the opportunity provided by nature's conflicts, the Chester’s unlock and uncover a biodiverse design for living that exists far beyond their farm, its seasons, and our wildest imagination.”

Natural Tie Dye at The Garden Recap
|
|
ON March 14, the garden hosted our natural tie-dye event. Despite the weather forecast, it was a good turnout. We learned about the different methods to extract dyes and tie-dye designs. A big thank you to Whisk, the student-led kitchen made some tie dye-inspired salad with purple cabbage dye boiled eggs to share at the event. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to come out to this event!

The terrariums and tea event last month was such a great time! The sign ups for it filled out FAST and we had 25+ people show up! We hope that everyone who came had a good time at the event, even those who weren't able to make a terrarium. We also hoped that you enjoyed our tea setup, we had plenty of different yummy flavors. Overall, It was a super fun time seeing everyone draw inspiration from environments/ places they care about and see their terrariums develop. All the terrariums were so cute. Thank you so much to those who were able to join us!
