U of T scores top marks in QS World University Rankings by Subject
U of T led the country in 36 subjects while its ranking improved in 22 subjects, ranging from civil and structural engineering to modern languages. Read more
P8 lower deck closing for lighting swap
The lower level of the P8 parking deck will be closed from Monday April 10 to Monday, April 24 to allow for the installation of new LED fixtures. 
During this time, there will be no access to the EV charging station or Accessible spaces in lower level P8. All other parking lots and areas will remain open. Drivers are encouraged to build in extra time to park their vehicle during this period of work.
Review the review
Teaching and administrative staff are invited to comment on UTM's Provostial Review, which will determine the academic priorities that will advance the Strategic Framework. Feedback should be submitted before April 6. Read more  
Online instructor evaluations due April 11
Instructors can encourage students to complete online evaluations for winter courses before April 11 by offering them time in class to do so. During this period, Instructors can also access the opt-out task from the ‘Course Evals’ tab on Quercus under ‘Tools for Instructors and Administrator’s.’ Direct questions to Ahad Syed at adoo.syed@utoronto.caLearn more 
Lacation pod offline
The Mamava lactation pod located in the CCT building will be offline until April 12. UTM EDI Office can assist with finding alternate arrangements while the pod is unavailable.

Appointments

The University of Toronto has appointed Christine Szustaczek, an award-winning public relations and communications leader, as vice-president, communications for a five-year term.
Szustaczek’s appointment takes effect May 15.
An alumna and former U of T administrator, Szustaczek currently serves as vice-president, external relations at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Learn more
