Meet our Entrepreneurship for Good Cohort 6

Our sixth Entrepreneur for Good (E4G) Cohort just wrapped up their 8-week social impact accelerator, designed to support new ventures leading the way toward a greener, fairer economy. Participants learn the essential aspects of social venture development through mini-lectures, group discussions and real-time practice.

We are excited to introduce you to this group of inspiring changemakers.

Our next cohort will take place mid summer.

Scholarships for Hennepin County residents are available thanks to the generous support of Elevate Business HC. We are also accepting donations to cover program costs for those outside Hennepin County. $1,500 funds one E4G changemaker!

Global Passport In Action

One of the coolest things about the Impact Hub network is the expansive network of over 100 Hubs all over the world. We connect and share virtually through virtual platforms, events and networking. However, as a member, you can work out of any Impact Hub through our Global Passport Program and experience the magic of our global community in person.

Staff Announcement

Impact Hub MSP is saying a bittersweet farewell to our Events & Marketing Manager, Bailey Johnson, who is moving on to her next career adventure.

Bailey has led marketing and events at Impact Hub for the past 5 years;

Spearheading programming like 1 Million Cups, MN B Local, Town Halls and Member Meetups.
Building Impact Hub’s voice by sharing consistent and engaging communications
Supporting our members through genuine relationship building and storytelling

Thank you for all of your hard work, Bailey! We will miss you! It will be hard to say goodbye, but we hope you can join us for a celebratory send off on her last day, Wednesday 4/12 from 5-6pm at the Hub.

12-4 Welcoming Wednesday

We are partnering with Launch Minnesota on a monthly event called Welcoming Wednesdays for Startups and Small Businesses. This is an initiative that brings together entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses a with community experts for the purpose of connecting and learning.

These monthly open house sessions spotlight the wealth of startup resources available in communities throughout Minnesota and help entrepreneurs connect with experts in their area. During this event, LegalCORPS will be hosting office hours offering free assistance for startups.

Net Zero

🚗🌿 Impact Hub Accra is shaking things up with e-mobility and sustainable energy in Ghana. Their recent work with Siemens Stiftung kickstarted the production of electric cargo bikes in Ghana to help reduce carbon emissions.

Based on a social entrepreneurship business model, clean mobility is now accessible to lower income communities.

Ghana Design Spirit was also organised to find innovative e-mobility solutions for the country's transportation challenges - a critical step towards a more sustainable future!
