Dear Residents,

Presented below are community updates for your information.  Please share this information with your neighbors that may not be signed up to receive email notifications from the Association

Lifeguards Needed
Titan Pools will be managing the Lake Manassas Pool this season and is looking for lifeguards!  Anyone interested in being a lifeguard can apply online here.  Training is not required to apply; certification is required to secure a position.

Training information can be found at www.lyfgrd4u.com or www.redcross.org.

Swim Team Registration
The Lake Manassas Blue Dolphins are excited to announce that registration for the 2023 summer swim team is now open!  Swimmers aged 4-18 are encouraged to join us for a summer of friendly competition and swimming improvement.  We welcome Lake Manassas families AND swimmers from outside the neighborhood - please encourage your friends to join us as well!  Also, please note that we offer sponsorship opportunities for local businesses.  Please visit our website to learn more.

Street Parking Violations
In addition to violations noted during regular Covenants patrols, a number of residents have made us aware of continuous parking violations occurring on their streets.

As a reminder, street parking is not permitted in Lake Manassas.  It is expected that residents and their guests will utilize all garage and driveway space.  If temporary street parking is still needed once all garage and driveway space is full, the Site Office must be notified in advance.  Basketball hoops located in the driveway are not an exception for street parking.

If you are found to be in violation of the Community's parking policy, an Opportunity to Correct notice will be issued.  Subsequent incidents of parking violations will result in Violation Letters being issued and financial penalties could possibly be assessed to your Association account by the Covenants Committee.

Monday Yard Waste Collection
It has been noticed that many residents are putting yard waste at the curb on Thursdays for collection.  As a reminder, American Disposal only collects yard waste on Mondays separate from trash and recycling.  Yard waste must be placed in biodegradable paper yard bags or loose in a personal container labeled "Yard Waste".  Yard waste in plastic bags will not be collected.
