Our Mission Statement:
As a Christian family Holy Spirit and St. Edward Catholic communities are committed to teaching the Gospel values of Jesus – love, justice and mercy. The sharing of the Eucharist and Sacraments enable us to live our faith and be of service to others in our family, our parish and our community.

Catholics in good health ages 18 to 59 are required to fast and abstain from meat on Good Friday.  Fasting consists of eating only one meal, with the possibility of two smaller snacks that do not add up to a single full meal.

After Easter Sunday Mass (10:45 AM) we will be having a small Easter egg hunt for children under the age of 10 years at St. Edward’s courtyard. Bring your little ones to Mass.

Parish Calendar
Everyone is invited to the Divine Mercy Sunday Service on April 16th at St. Edward. The prayer service will start right after Mass (11:40 AM). The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed with song, a short reflection, Divine Mercy Chaplet in song, Offering and Burning of Petitions, and Sacrament of Reconciliation with multiple priests. You won’t want to miss this beautiful way to worship our Lord, Jesus Christ in a special way!

Meals for the Heartland
We received a generous donation to build One Team to help package meals at the Meals of the Heartland SWCC event. There is a signup sheet at the vestibule of Holy Spirit Church!
There are many great opportunities for all students who are interested to attend the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) on November 16-18, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN. Below are some of the fundraising events to pay for the trip. We do not want money to be a hindrance to any child who has the goodwill to attend. Contact Barb Hudson (641-202-2064) or Fr. Patrick (641-782-5278) for more information and to sign up today! Please sign up by April 30th.

Want to help? Spring Yard Cleaning: Free Will Donation to help send our teens to Indianapolis for National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC). Call Jacquie Herron 636-284-9999 to help organize a time to have your flower beds cleaned out and/or sticks picked up by our NCYC teens.  Every little donation helps!

Catholic Daughters of America would like to thank everyone, from St Malachy students and their 2 noisy change collections to St Clare Parish of Staten Island, New York, that made our Seder meal fundraiser a success. Eternal rest grant unto Dannel, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 10th at 10:30 AM, St. Edward.
