The City of SLO is repairing a sink hole on Fredericks Street. The street is closed to through traffic between Grand Avenue and Albert Drive (at the Methodist Church). Road work began on April 27 and is expected to take about a week. The easiest way to enter and exit the parking lot is from the driveway on Grand Ave.

To our generous, compassionate members,
Since the inception of our matching fund drive, Mt Carmel has donated over $32,000 to our local Food Bank (from mid-- 2020 though Dec. 31, 2023). Even this amazing number is incomplete, because people did sometimes forget to identity their contributions as part of the Mt Carmel fund. SLO Food Bank receives 87% of its funds from local donors like ourselves. Our matching fund drive is complete, but please remember to keep the Food Bank in your heart as a very deserving charity to support. The need is always present.

We'll gladly do the shopping if you perfer to make a cash donation on Sunday.
