Our Season Kickoff and Fundraiser is in celebration of Puccini's La Bohème

Please join fellow BOF friends and supporters for this special Season Kickoff and Fundraiser. Guests will be treated to a delicious three-course meal, live and silent auctions, and musical selections by special guest artist Teresa Perrotta and BOF’s very own Maestro Brian Garman. Event proceeds will support BOF’s 2023 season mainstage production of Puccini’s timeless tale of love and loss, La Bohème.
Guests at Café Society will get a chance to hear the artistry of soprano Teresa Perrotta, a recent grand finals winner at the 2023Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition. Ms. Perrotta, according to Classical Voice North America, has a “sweet, rich voice,” and Opera Magazine UK said she “showed total command musically and dramatically . . . a lovely, pliant voice one would seek out again.” Ms. Perrotta joined the Washington National Opera as a Cafritz Young Artist for the 2022-23 season, where she will perform Musetta in La Bohème at the Kennedy Center.
