ACEC-SC Nominations Open: Firm of the Year, Engineer of the Year, Young Engineer/Professional of the Year

1) 2023 Young Engineer/Professional of the Year Award

It is the policy of the American Council of Engineering Companies to promote, support, and encourage the professional development of young engineers and employees at ACEC-SC member firms. To this end, the Young Engineer/Professional of the Year Award was established. ACEC-SC may select annually an outstanding young engineer or professional. The recipient of this honor may then be the nominee for the ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award the following year, providing all ACEC requirements are met.

2) Firm of the Year

This year, ACEC of South Carolina is accepting nominations for “ACEC-SC Member Firm of the Year." This prestigious and coveted award recognizes ACEC-SC member firms for their demonstrated leadership in promoting the private practice of engineering through ACEC and their involvement in local communities. One small firm (1-50 employees) and one large firm (>50 employees) awards will be presented. Current ACEC-SC Board Member firms are excluded from submitting. Winners will be announced at the EEA Gala.

3) 2023 Engineer of the Year Award

It is the policy of the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina to promote, support, and encourage the continued professional development of engineers. To this end, the Engineer of the Year Award was established in 2023. The Engineer of the Year Award is the highest award given to an individual by the Council. It may be given annually by ACEC-SC to an engineer who has made outstanding contributions to his or her profession, public welfare, and/or mankind.
