Tomorrow is May Day. Today we will look at two of its faces, look for our theme in their midst and, if all goes well, gather around the Maypole to celebrate together!

You can visit our Website Homepage for a list of additional upcoming Sunday Services. View printed past sermons here. View past video sermons here.

Dance your way into spring!
Yes, there is actually a Maypole growing in the Sanctuary.
The question is, will it be inside or outside on Sunday? Come to find out.

UUMH Stewardship Campaign
In case you missed the email, here is a blurb from an email note sent this week.
"What does the UU Meeting House in Chatham mean to you? This community of Unitarian Universalists is many things to our members. It's a place to "support and encourage social justice principles," one that is "open in spirit, faith, and acceptance," and one that honors "love and service and humanity." The welcoming community of UUMH is all of these things and so much more.

The future is bright as joyful voices fill our sanctuary and our hearts as we gather for in-person services, as well as online. Our goal is to remain financially secure as well as to be a strong voice for justice, compassion, and the search for truth and meaning in the years ahead.

Your continued support and involvement in the coming year are essential. Whatever you give, and however it arrives, we are so grateful for your support!"

If you make a pledge, please send an email to uumh@uumh.net with the pledge amount. If you don’t want the commitment of a pledge, you can make an immediate one-time donation to “Unrestricted Gift.”

Thrift Shop Season: Setup Details
Next Friday, April 28th, we will begin setting up the Thrift Shop starting with the men bringing down all the furniture. The following week we will go through the donated items in the workroom and put them into the Fleck Room (there are lots of beautiful items gathered). Click the button below to see when you are scheduled to work. Please come to church on the days you are working and help with the setup and pricing. If you can help on other days that would be greatly appreciated. We probably will be getting donations so it will be a busy time. The more the merrier! - Mary Parsons

REFLECTIONS: A WALK WITH WATER
Saturday, May 6th  |  9:30 AM
NR | 79min | Documentary

The conditions that make life possible are rapidly changing. Reckoning with this reality on the cusp of a record-setting dry season, filmmaker Emmett Brennan embarks on a powerful journey to find stories of hope and healing. Brennan sets out to walk 200 miles next to the iconic Los Angeles aqueduct. Along the way he encounters cultural leaders, ecological iconoclasts, and indigenous wisdom keepers who are re-envisioning our relationship to water. The water cycle is being broken, they say, and the consequence is an increasingly erratic and uninhabitable planet.

Through a series of intimate vignettes, Reflection: a walk with water offers essential guidance for reviving this cycle. The award-winning film highlights transformational stories from LA and other parts of California and makes widespread ecological healing seem well within reach.
