The Women & Planning Division is seeking self-nominations for the Executive Committee's Director of Finance!
Serving as an APA elected leader offers an opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your networks, and work directly to strengthen the impact of our organization.
WPD's Director of Finance serves a two-year term and is responsible for:
- Participating in monthly Executive Committee meetings
- Overseeing preparation of the annual Budget
- Managing Division funds and accounts (including deposits and reimbursements)
- Providing regular reports to the Executive Committee on the status of the Division’s finances
- Preparing an annual financial report to be presented to the Executive Committee in advance of and at the annual business meeting
- Supporting other Division initiatives, as required.
You can anticipate dedicating approximately 2-5 hours per month to this role; additional time may be required around NPC and during preparation of the Division's annual budget, workplan, and performance report.
