Join us April 24 for a great meeting. We are looking forward to hearing Dr. Andy Jackson speak about House Rep. Tricia Cotham, co-chair of the K-12 Education committee, switching parties from D to R and how that affects the state legislature. Attorney Tyler Brooks will discuss the work he's doing for the Thomas More Society and NCGOP Chair candidate John Kane will also be speaking about his upcoming race.

WESTERN WAKE CUSTOM BRACELETS
Our new club bracelets are in and will be available at our April 24 meeting. Please bring $5 cash or check if you'd like to purchase one. This is a fundraiser - the money raised will help us fund club operations, candidate forums and debates, community events and our annual Freedom Picnic and will provide candidate support and an opportunity to make a difference in our towns, county and state.

Thanks again to Erin Paré and Sebastian King for the wonderful tour of the General Assembly and House floor and for your hospitality. The Western Wake Republican Club Legislative Committee had an awesome time and are grateful for our Republican legislators!.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

This week, the NC House approved bills including ones to prevent biological men from competing in women's sports, to enhance foreclosure protections for military service members and to improve school discipline and conduct standards.
