Exciting School News: 
The ILSW tracksters had another great (and freezing cold) meet on Saturday. I don't have official results yet, but will post them as soon as I receive them!

There is exciting news out of Lutheran High St. Charles as well.Their school robotics team (The Roboteers) went to the International Competition in Houston, TX. There were 600 teams from 29 different countries and OUR Lutheran High School placed 5TH in the world!!! What an accomplishment for these students! We are so proud of you!

Upcoming Dress Days:
May 4th: We will have a special Star Wars themed dress up day. 

Important Calendar Dates:

It is crucial that all K-8 students are in attendance on May 1st-5th. This will be our 3rd and final round of NWEA testing for students for this school year. Thank you for respecting the importance of these dates.

Staff Appreciation Week:

This is no surprise at all, but almost all of our volunteer needs are met by our parents already for Staff Appreciation Week. Thank you so much as this week only works with your help! There are a few more ways to sign up to help. Please see the link below.

Parent Teacher League Officer Nominations:

We will be bringing back PTL in full force next year. Any parent is encouraged to be a part of this group, but we are looking for officers.

We need a Chairperson, VIce-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer for the 23-24 school year and they are 2 year terms. This team is not like a typical PTL. You are not responsible for raising funds for the school. You lead the charge for planning fun events such as Trunk or Treat, Daddy Daughter Dance, Staff Appreciation Week, and a Mother/Son Event. You are NOT responsible for Spiritwear sales OR Trivia Night.

Parent Advisory Team Nominations: 

We have a Parent Advisory Team consisting of 9 parents. We will be holding elections for this group in May and are now calling for nominations. There are 2 open positions and it is a 2 year term. Nominations.are due by May 4th and elections will take place ( in person) the week of May 15th. The term would start July 2023 and attending all of the PAT meetings is a mandatory requirement to serve on this team.

Other Important News:
Please join us for our 6th-8th grade production of Annie JR. on Friday, May 12th at 7pm. There is no ticket cost!

Church News/Services:

We are still looking for adult volunteers for VBS. For more information, please contact Janie Fisher.

Services are at the following times:
Saturday: 5pm
Sunday: 8am, 9:30am, and 11am.

Confirmation Sunday is April 30th at 2pm.
