Selfies: Can I Ever Measure Up?

"Selfie" was the word the Oxford Dictionary chose as word of the year in 2013, only three years after Apple introduced the selfie camera on its iPhone 4 in 2010. Since then, millions of selfies have been posted at a current rate of 6.88 billion per year, or about 92 million selfie photos a day, according to 2022 photutorial.com analytics.

Moving From Panic to Peace

A common trait of parents who come to Living Hope for the first time is feeling panicked and unprepared for the news that their child struggles with same-sex attraction. Few parents are prepared for this news and feel the pressure to have answers and solutions to all the things they suddenly are facing and for the things they fear will happen. They feel a sense of urgency, having only a limited time to make a difference, so they must act immediately, or else all is lost. Fear has its grip on them, controlling their thoughts and actions.

The Goodness of God

For three days 42 people from all over the world gathered for a time of reflection, fellowship, and study on the goodness of God. The setting was beautiful, the teachings and breakout sessions were inspirational, the worship was powerful, and the fellowship with God and His people were incredible. The generosity of our supporters make this impactful and life-changing event possible. Thank you!

Here's just one comment from a participant: "I seldom take the time to ponder what the Goodness of God actually means, and how that impacts my life. It was great to reflect on that for a few days, and internalize how that should impact my daily life."
