End of Season

Editor's Piece

Hi All,

Roll on Tuesday and the final competition of the Print League - see the placings below, ready for the final scores. Exciting times.

The third of Tony's innovative Chat Sessions last Tuesday was a classic .  Thank you to Barbara, Adrian, Ann and Trevor for walking us through your photographic journeys. The link it below and it is worth a visit. Thank you to Steve Russell for taking the images of the participants.

Thank you to those of you who sent me images taken over the Coronation. What an interesting record of the weekend.

Following on from Gordon's talk and slides last Tuesday about the lectures Bob Allen has lined up for us next year, I have taken Adrian Walmsley's words from the website and Gordon's pictures from his slides to produce a list of who we are going to see and when. If you feel that there are gaps, then do let Bob know as he will be starting on the program for following year very soon.

We are saying goodbye to Helen Bonnor this season as she moves to live near her son. Helen is known to most us as a calm teacher of complicated software such as Photoshop. Lately she has also been the Membership Secretary. She will be very missed and we all wish her well in her new home and new life.

This is your last chance to nominate someone for various roles on the committee or to raise a motion at the AGM.  We still have no vice president....

Stay Safe,

Carey Wall

Wedding Photographer Required

Here is a request for a wedding photographer. If interested, please can you contact Julie direct?

From: Julie Halliwell <julie.halliwell@hotmail.com>
Subject: Wedding Photography

Message Body:
Hello,
Can you let me know if anyone in your society would be interested in taking some relaxed photos at our wedding? We don't really want a formal photographer as such, we would just like someone that likes taking photos and could do a better job than our family could with their iPhone!
We are getting married a 12pm on 8th July in Winchester Registry Office, then having a blessing at 3pm in Avington Church, Avington and we would like a couple of photos at either or both of these venues if possible.
We would of course be happy to pay for this.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards, Julie
