2023 Annual Meeting on Friday, May 12

This year’s LLI Annual Meeting will be held in person in Olin Hall on Friday, May 12. The business meeting will be called to order at 10 am, but please arrive early to enjoy a light brunch beginning at 8:30 am in the Olin Atrium. We will also enjoy jazz music from the 1940s and 1950s performed by Bard students in the Olin Auditorium starting at 9:15 am.

We need an accurate member count to prepare for the brunch, so please use the instructions below to register for this event by May 8, 2023. Please remember to wear your LLI name tag with stickers or bring proof of vaccination/booster.

Our president, Robert Beaury, will report on LLI’s current program year. Our first vice president, Mary McClellan, will recognize retiring Council members and introduce the newly elected officers and members at large who will begin their terms of office on July 1. Our second vice president, Felice Gelman, will explain the revision to our Bylaws, and our treasurer, Jerry Brockett, will review the tentative budget for 2023-24. Finally, Robert Beaury will give us a look at LLI’s future.

As for business matters, members will be asked to approve the 2022 annual meeting minutes and the tentative budget for the 2023-24 fiscal year, which begins on July 1, 2023.
