YOUR SUMMER SPACE 
TO BALANCE YOURSELF!!
 
It’s the time of the year....

We all are soon entering the summer holiday space-  into this much-needed yearly break rather  A CHANGE...
And as I sit back slowing down in my alone blissful space 
2 things come up – The whole concept of how we used to take holidays earlier as a child and how we take holidays now
Quiet a shift isn’t it?

Nevertheless, I am all set for a summer break and Swasthya Clinic will also take its required summer break.
I am sure it is not very common for a clinic to take its annual summer break but it's a much-needed thing and I am sure this reading space will do justice to the concept of taking summer breaks in the right sense and way.

 
Having said that Let me put her some very important announcements not to be missed

So coming back to our HOT TOPIC OF SUMMER HOLIDAYS or that matter any Holiday spaces it is usually seen we tend to unwind in a limited time and space.

As you know nowadays most of us work 340-350 days a year and we take around 15-20 days of holidays and we try to utilise it to extremes in those specific number of days.
We see excess, we eat excess, and we fully stretch the capacity of all our five senses to make up for the whole year of stress..
We walk more, talk more, think more and use all which we have not used in those 350 days
 
So the irony becomes instead of feeling naturally relaxed and balanced we bring in more tiredness and exhaustion what we typically see as Post Holiday syndrome where we feel we need more break and space after coming back from our Tick mark holidays…. Take a moment here to feel this.
 
As opposed to this let's go back and REVISIT OUR CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF SUMMER HOLIDAYS, the ones most cherished. As a child typically we would take holiday in our special places, a place where the child feels connected and is a natural space for him like maternal or paternal grandparents' house or old ancient family house.
We would go there for a month or two and enjoy that unconditional open space.
There we have our favourite alone space, do our favourite natural activities and daily we do some guided activities like our hobbies
And most of us agree they have been our best memories of life...
As we take this example it is totally understandable that practically it won't be possible to take those 2 months break completely and maybe not in the same way.
But if we can bring the essence back of what we did as a child in that open unconditional natural space today then it can make a difference in taking us closer to our original self and bringing a true balance within us to sustain for the whole year of work, creativity and productivity.

Aims of the below methods/activities is:

a) To bring you in touch with your Natural, Original, Intuitive, Spontaneous self and explore your innate natural holistic pattern.
b) Note down all non-linear, spontaneous, non-logical expressions and flow- whenever they come, wherever they come and however they come during below suggested activities.

 

  1. FIND A HOLIDAY SPACE/ YOUR UNWINDING SPACE THIS SUMMER: Which you feel is your Natural space and in tune with your energy.
  2. SPEND TIME IN YOUR ALONE BLISSFUL SPACE (Choose a space that allows you the time to be alone with yourself).                                       a) See what comes up naturally, spontaneously when you are in your natural alone private blissful space.                                          b)Connect with your natural unique daily rituals /habitsSome weird/unique habits/rituals in childhood or now you do in your space without any reason, maybe which your parents people around told you not to do but was natural for you.
  3. REDISCOVER YOUR NATURAL ACTIVITIES/HOBBIES:                          a) RETHINK ABOUT THOSE ACTIVITIES OR HOBBIES WHICH ARE NATURAL TO YOU BEFORE INTELLECT TOOK OVER AND  YOU TOOK IT FROM OUTSIDE.  Activities that calm you down in your high or low state, in your illness or in your stressful situations.                                  b) RECONNECT AND Do your natural hobby which centres you. And express what comes up in that space spontaneously and naturally.
  4. SIMPLE GUIDED ACTIVITIES:
WALKING AS GUIDED METHOD:
       >>>OPEN WALK:                                                                                        A) Go for a Natural open 10 minutes walk and then at the end of the walk settle yourself to be in your alone space and see what comes up spontaneously on the surface.
B) Walk in woods, at sea, in forest and in mountains, full moon/new moon and witness what comes on the surface.           
                                                 >>>GUIDED WALK:
C) Walk keeping the thing/emotion bothering you in center
D) Walk by keeping your illness in the center of your thought and see what comes up.         
                                                                                                         READING /JOURNALLING:
  1. Read - A book or an article or a newspaper or any read that comes up in your holiday space and note what touches you, stays in your attention, gets attached to or affects your emotions note that down
  2. Journalling-                                                                                >>  In your alone blissful space write what comes up naturally without logic or a thought into it.                                                         >>      In that alone space write about that natural and guided activities you did this summer. With that anything comes on surface do write that too

    >> How this holiday has  helped you to balance  the 2 sides of you- your personal and professional space, your mind and body , your day to day activity common and artistic activity 

 

I hope when we meet next we can speak about what we did to balance ourselves, what came up on the surface as got connected to our natural activities and much more so when you come back you are in an equal and balanced state to truly ignite your holistic car to walk more smoothly and efficiently.
