Endeavor Romania and HackHER partnering together

To keep multiplying our mission to support founders globally, Endeavor Romania strives to create a gender-equitable tech startup landscape. This is why we are super excited to announce our partnership with HackHER, the first gender-equal hackathon in Romania, that will take place on May 6.
HackHER is a hackathon where female startup founders or co-founders will team up with a development team for a one-day sprint to build an IT technical strategy for their idea/product.
We are sure that our Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Andreea Plesea and Sergiu Negut, who are mentors and members of the jury, will do a great job, so stay tuned.

Our Digital Marketing Breakfast was a blast!

And what a better way to celebrate our equal community than gathering together, sharing ideas, and a cup of coffee during our Endeavor breakfasts.
On April 26, we got together to delve into different digital marketing strategies and learn more about the techniques employed to better target customers. Our event, led by Cristian Ignat, founder of Canopy and Aggranda, focused on helping entrepreneurs learn how to think like strategic marketers.
With his extensive experience gained while working with UiPath, Cristian provided valuable insights into the latest digital marketing strategies and offered related real-world case studies.

The local ecosystem has been thriving, and we are happy to inform you that AROBS Transilvania Software, the largest technology company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, announced the complete takeover of the Future WorkForce Global, a leader in providing complex business process automation solutions, whom they've been partnering since 2020.

Whether it's on a local or global level, we believe that the Multiplier Effect has the power to transform ecosystems, as we've seen in the past 25 years, and April was the month to celebrate those Multipliers.
In their honor, Endeavor Global mapped the Multiplier Effect of some of Endeavor’s highest - growth entrepreneurs - those jumpstarting the next Silicon Valleys, from Argentina to Indonesia.

Edenred acquires GOintegro, supporting the LATAM region's growth
Another global announcement worth celebrating is the fact that Edenred, a leader in payments and employee benefits, extends its Employee Engagement offer in Latin America with the acquisition of GOintegro, a provider of a SaaS engagement employee platform. The transaction is planned to close in June, so stay tuned on how this synergy will affect this growing region.

AnyMind Group debuts on Tokyo Stock Exchange
On the other side of the world, in another booming region influencing the global ecosystem, AnyMind got listed on Tokyo Stock Exchanged. After all, this giant e-commerce enabler witnessed a 54% compound annual growth rate from 2017 to 2022, and hit an operating profit of US$215,000 for 2022.

Start-up Highlights
- Upgrade Education, a leading EdTech platform, has recently completed a €200,000 investment in the new online mentoring platform Agora on a mission to help students advance.
- Another progress in the edu sector was made by Kinderpedia, a novel school management platform addressing the sophisticated needs of education institutions, which was recognized as Software Product of the Year at the IT Industry Excellence Awards 2023 | ANIS Gala on April 5.

Also involved in a project with a social cause, Bonapp.eco, a Romanian startup that sells discounted food approaching its expiration date, closed a pre-seed extension round of €600,000, supported by angel investors and through SeedBlink.

Once again through SeedBlink, the MedTech startup Synaptiq, an AI-based solution specialized in optimizing cancer treatment through radiotherapy, opened a new investment round for private investors, so check how you can get involved.

And to wrap up with another good news for the medical field: Oncochain obtained a grant of €195,000 from Innovation Norway, part of the SME Development in Romania - Support for Start-ups program, to develop OncoAbstrakt, a new Artificial Intelligence capabilities solution to enhance personalized care. We can't wait to see how the project goes!
